Dara Kovacevic (she/her) is an actor, singer, and dancer from Pittsburgh, PA. She is currently based in Winston-Salem, NC and will graduate with a BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in May 2024. She got her start performing in a traditional Eastern European folk ensemble at the age of six, and has adored being on stage ever since. This is a girl who loves fashion, cooking, rock music, crossword puzzles, bubble baths, and carrying a little stuffed animal pal in her purse. Acting found its way to Dara before she could even read – asking her father to read her books to memorize and perform to her little brother, in the lower-bunk-bed-turned-theater with beaded, red stage curtains her mother handmade for her. Storytelling has always been at the core of who she is, and she cannot wait to spend the rest of her life creating and sharing more.
